Gold Coast Boat Club - The Anchorage - South Stradbroke Island
Welcome to the Gold Coast Boat Club.
A little slice of paradise just a stone's throw from the mainland. Located on the western side of South Stradbroke Island, just 800mt south of Tipplers, "The Anchorage" is a home away from home for so many of its members.
The club offers a rage of family friendly activities throughout the year including:
- Annual Easter feast complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny
- Christmas celebrations including a feast, games, raffles and even a special visit from the Big Fella himself
- Australia Day antics by the water ( a busy day for Tipplers passage)
- Fishing and crabbing competitions
- Social nights, fancy dress parties and kids movies on the big screen
The club brings together those who love boating, the outdoors, fishing and crabbing, and generally just the social aspect of this lifestyle. Whether it is a tinny or a cruiser, we welcome you to come along, meet the members and join in on the fun.
